RE: Chesildene Drive and Shillingstone Drive Zebra crossings
Dear Councillor Whittaker
Representations to the council regarding the consultation were as follows:
i) One objection was received from a resident living close to the proposed zebra crossing in Chesildene Drive.
Although it listed 7 reasons against the installation of the zebra crossing, none appear to require the council to reconsider the original proposal.
ii) No objections were received regarding the Shillingstone Drive proposals. However a petition containing 214 signatures was received in their support.
In view of the above results a Decision Notice recommending implementation of all the proposals will be submitted to Councillor Filer for approval.
I will advise you when I have a firm date for construction, but it is still hoped to undertake the work during November subject to final council approval.
I hope this is satisfactory.
Kind regards,
Roger Dyson
