The Shack

Muscliff Park Youth Centre is set on the edge of Muscliff Park in the Throop and Muscliff ward of Bournemouth. Commonly known as The Shack, it offers a wide range of activities and opportunities to young people. Muscliff is well equipped for sports with the field outside, two floodlit tennis courts and an indoor sports hall. Sports including basketball, tennis, table tennis, football and trampolining are regularly available to any young person that attends.

As well as an active sports scene, the Shack has fantastic music and media facilities. Working with Townsend Youth Centre we have a combination of staff that can help young people, write, record and play their own music, plan shoot and edit films or get involved in photography or animation. A fully equipped music studio and media suite give young people access to professional equipment and a number of live events over the year give them opportunities to perform and show off their work.

The club itself is a friendly and welcome place to be and we have many opportunities for young people to get involved in the life of the club from helping to run the coffee bar to sitting on the Young Peoples Forum to help plan what we do.
